We hope this past week has been filled with moments of joy and peace for you! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, our hearts are full of gratitude for our CCC family. Each of you brings something unique and valuable to our community, making it a place of warmth and connection. Thank you for being a part of what makes our church feel like home.
As we wind down our series, we have to face the unfortunate fact that there is someone who wants to derail our journey to becoming like Jesus. He works overtime and has a host of assistants. We must beware, but have confidence, because our powerful God is at work changing us from the inside out!
Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM for a time of worship and connection! After the service, stay for some quality fellowship with others in our church family. There's a lot going on in our community, so take a look at the updates below to see how you can get involved.
We're looking forward to celebrating, worshiping, and connecting with you. See you this weekend!

We're thrilled to invite you to a unique opportunity thisSunday, November 17, as Karyn Sorenson shares her inspiring journey and mission among the Micronesian people. Since 2007, Karyn has passionately served in Micronesia, bringing hope and the Gospel to these beautiful islands. After moving from Guam to join us at Community Covenant, where her husband, Eric, leads as our pastor, Karyn has continued her mission, using technology to reach people from afar and spending a significant part of each year directly in Micronesia.
During this presentation, Karyn will bring us into the heart of Micronesian culture, share the deep needs of the islands, and describe the unique challenges and joys of her ministry. You'll be moved by how "the God who sees" is actively at work in these communities! Young adults: if you're interested in being part of a future mission trip to Micronesia, this is a must-attend!
This event includes a light lunch, so PLEASE RSVP ASAP so we can ensure there's enough food for everyone.

? This Sunday: Support Because of Hope (BOH) - Empowering Widows and Orphans in Uganda
Because of Hope (BOH) is a local nonprofit dedicated to sustainably empowering widows and orphans in Uganda. Founded in 2011 by three young UCSB graduates who felt called by God to partner with an organization in Uganda, BOH has grown to include five agriculture projects, a scholarship program, and a Beads Project-all of which provide women with ways to support their families.
Through the Beads Project, women create beautiful paper bead jewelry and crafts, which offer them a valuable source of income. These handmade items make unique, meaningful Christmas gifts, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the artisans.
Be sure to visit the BOH table outside this Sunday! You can purchase these special items, support women in Uganda, and sign up for BOH's newsletter to stay updated on their impactful work.
