Happy Mother's Day from Community Covenant Church!
This Sunday, we want to take a moment to honor and celebrate all women-mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, mentors, and friends-who have shaped our lives with love, strength, and grace. Whether today brings joy, longing, gratitude, or a mix of emotions, we recognize and appreciate the many ways women reflect the heart of God in our community.
This will be a very special Sunday to celebrate the wonderful women in our lives. And it's also week three of our series, "The Four ALs."
This week we are going to meet our third AL: Mission-AL. He's an important friend to have on your discipleship journey, lest that journey end up becoming all about you. Come with an eagerness to learn what it looks like to be on mission for Jesus!
After church, be sure to stick around for a time of fellowship, hosted by our Young Adults! Be sure to read below and make sure you bring some food to share, and join us for Church Community!

This encouraging 6-week Bible study is already underway-but it's not too late to jump in! With no homework and no video, each session offers meaningful, guided conversation as we open God's Word together.

Join us on Sunday, May 18 at 3:00 PM for a fun afternoon of pickleball on our permanently striped, portable courts in the church parking lot!
Whether you're brand new to the game or looking to level up your skills, this is a great opportunity to play, learn, and connect.

A once-in-a-lifetime trip to visit the very places St. Paul lived and ministered is scheduled for this coming fall! The Christian movement itself could not have happened without Paul, who tirelessly traveled around the Mediterranean starting the very first Christian congregations. Join with others from Community Covenant, and beyond, as we visit some of the most important sites in Greece and western Turkey. The trip promises to make the New Testament come alive! An opportunity to discover more about the tour will take place after worship on May 18. Stick around and explore this wonderful opportunity to travel, learn, and grow.
Celebrate Pentecost with Us - Outdoor Worship & BBQ | June 8
Join us for a special Pentecost Sunday Outdoor Service on June 8th at Community Covenant Church!
Pentecost is the day we celebrate the birth of the Church and the power of the Holy Spirit poured out on God's people. We'll mark this meaningful day with powerful outdoor worship, real stories of life change, and a message of hope as we reflect on all that God is doing in and through our church.
After the service, stick around for a church-wide BBQ and time to connect as a community! The church will provide the meat and drinks, and we're inviting everyone to bring a potluck-style side dish to share.
Don't forget:
Bring a chair, a friend, and your appetite-this is going to be a joyful and memorable day together!
