Stampede is our Sunday Morning Kids Program.
Hold onto your hats though, this is not an ordinary Sunday Program!

Our objective is simple:

LEADING KIDS TO BELIEVE AND LIVE AS FOLLOWERS OF JESUS.

Matthew, Mark, and Luke all tell us about Jesus' interaction with children. Jesus tells his disciples not to prevent children from coming to him because the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them.  So here at Community Covenant Church, we work hard to remove all fences that "prevent" or "hinder" our children from stampeding towards God. We start by saddling up and learning a whole new language: Kid.
Kid language has two main parts: Community and Joy.

COMMUNITY

JOY

Kids speak friendship. Children are wired for community.  If our children can come to church and make a friend, then everything they do at church will be that much more meaningful and extra special.
Kids speak joy. Learning about God can be fun. What would our kid’s life look like if the best part of their week was Sunday morning? So in everything we do here we seek to infuse the experience with a massive amount of joy.

EACH AGE GROUP HAS A SPECIAL FOCUS GEARED TOWARDS ITS OWN UNIQUE PROCESS:

TUMBLEWEEDS

NURSERY

Ages 0-2 Where kids are cared for and have a bright space to play, crawl, laugh and grow. We have one purpose in this space, to show love to the youngest and teach them that God loves them.

Buckaroos

PRE-K

For ages 3-5. Where kids are given space to play, be involved in the sharing of great stories from the Bible, and are encouraged to dream and create. These kids will learn that God made them special!

Wranglers

K -3rd Grade

For grades K-3rd, Wranglers is a blast! We have songs, we have games, and we have the story of Jesus for kids to experience. Our kids never want to miss a week as there is always a lot of fun in this room!

DEEP SPACE

4th -  6th Grade

Our program hopes to encourage our 4th, 5th and 6th graders to think outside of our water-heavy sphere and look to things above.
After all, pre-teens are an instrumental and unique addition to our church community and we seek to create a place specially designed for them. A place where they can play, study, grow, and think. Think about things like metaphors and why moldy cheese tastes better the moldier it is.

Here at Community Covenant Church we love our kids. Therefore we work hard to make sure our kids programs are well funded, well cared for, and of course, well staffed. That means we are constantly looking for amazing leaders who speak kid and want to be a part of a great team once a month! Please consider filling out an application and joining our team!
